The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) is space systems development and acquisition center for the United States Space Force (USSF) responsible for developing, acquiring, deploying, and sustaining military space systems and assets of the United States. These assets include spacecrafts/satellites including operating on five different geocentric orbits deployed primarily by three launch vehicles from United Launch Alliance and SpaceX, and ground systems deployed across the world.
