charity: water
Billboard Design (Concept)
charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. 785 million people live without clean water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide, or, twice the population of the United States without access to life’s most basic human need. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep kids out of school and take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that make them sick. When a community gets access to clean water, it can change just about everything.
concept project objective
To promote charity: water’s mission and provide global awareness to its campaign of bringing safe and acessible drinking water in developing countries. The billboard concept must be able to evoke emotions of hope, generosity, and compassion to a diverse audience. With the billboard strategically placed in (fast paced) major metros around the world, the visuals must be bold and able to capture an audience’s attention in split seconds. The design must be visually emotional and motivating to the viewers.
